Cameron Leonard-Schroff
From KIAwiki
Cameron Leonard-Schroff was one of the founding members of the International Chaos Order The Invisible Illuminati in the late 1990's under the magickal alias MobStar, and was also deeply involved with The Dionysian Underground under the mastership of Steve Ash and was one of the first wave KIA members. In 2003 Cameron disbanded the I.'.I.'. after briefly turning over mastership to Steve Ash. Frater MobStar the Chaios Magickian was put to rest as Cameron moved into Masonic and Thelemic circles, immersing himself in study and initiation.
Cameron was born in British Hong Kong but quickly moved to the UK at just 6 weeks old. His mother is a practicing Japanese-Parci Santera and also honoured Japanese Spirits in true synchra style; and his father comes from a long line of British Master Masons, with Ancient Royal Seats emerging from France, into Kent and finally Galway Ireland. His mother through her Parci lines come from a priestly line of Zorastrian Merchant traders, part of the last wave of fire worshipers living in what is now Iran and Persia, before the mass exodus to Bombay.
By day Cameron runs the Occult Supply and Bookstore DragonsGate in Brighton, South England and is also a respected prolific music producer, releasing psychedelic electronic music on a number of labels under multiple alias including Mood Deluxe and Nagual Sound Experiment on Liquid Records.
After a 6 year period living in Los Angeles, Cameron moved back to the UK where he currently resides in Brighton.
Cameron is the original polymath. Chaos magic to him represents a refined approach to magick that is only workable by advanced magicians with years of experience and grounding in some traditional form of magickal training. He finds "blanket chaoism" rather nihilistic and boring, although he does enjoy reading Peter Carroll at times.
An avid Crowley scholar, he prefers traditional thelemic practice, and masonic style ritual to the slapstick style ritual of amature chaos magic. Venomously anti-Wiccan, anti-new age and anti-neo pagan, you'd better be able to control the weather if you call yourself a "shaman" in front of him.
He is a Thelemite, a devotee of Babalon, an initiate of the OTO and the AA,a practioner of esoteric Voudoun and Santeria ,a masonic scholar and a Knight Inquisitor to the British Dragon Court and Order under the supervision of His Serene Highness Sir Baron Richard Antony Duffton of the Royal House of Doves.
His main areas of study and interest these days revolve around Ancient Sumeria, Mesopatamia and Chaldea and the magic and beliefs practiced by these cultures.
